Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy

FlexyBlogs publishes two kinds of content: articles written by our editorial team, and articles and submissions from community members. This page explains how each is produced and what readers can expect.

Editorial team articles

Articles published under the FlexyBlogs Editorial Team byline are practical guides on technology, business, marketing, finance, health, education, travel and specialist topics.

  • Sources. We base factual claims on primary sources such as government agencies, standards bodies, regulators and official product documentation, and link to them so readers can check.
  • No invented experience. Editorial articles do not claim personal experiences, case studies, testimonials or statistics that we cannot support. Worked examples are labelled as illustrations.
  • Use of AI tools. Some drafts are prepared with the help of AI writing tools. Every such article is edited and fact-checked by a member of our team before publication, and the team is responsible for what we publish.
  • Images. Photographs come from licensed sources such as Unsplash and are credited to the photographer. Infographics and printable checklists are made by our team.
  • Health, finance and safety. Articles on these subjects are general information, not personal advice, and say so.

Community articles

Registered members can publish articles under their own name. Authors are responsible for their work and must follow our Community Guidelines: original writing, credited sources and images, and disclosure of commercial relationships. We remove content that breaks the guidelines.

Submissions

The submission hub lets businesses and individuals publish links, images, articles, resource pages, directory listings, press releases and PDF documents. Each item is labelled with its type and its submitter. Submissions are user-generated content and do not represent the views of FlexyBlogs. Directory listings must use real, verifiable business details.

Corrections and updates

If you spot an error, please tell us through the contact page with a link to the article and, if possible, a source. We correct factual errors promptly and update articles when official guidance changes.

Independence

Links in editorial articles are chosen because they are useful to readers. We do not accept payment for links or coverage in editorial articles.
